The nucleus of these celestial crankshafts is 4340 forged steel that is triple heat-treated and nitrided. They are then the mains are gun-drilled, the rod journals lightened, the counterweights pendulum-cut, and they're given a star flange. The journals are polished to 5Ra or less and have a star-bright shine. They're light in weight but big in performance and quality.
