C.E. Smith Heavy-Duty Side Mount Spare Tire Carriers
C.E. Smith heavy-duty side mount spare tire carriers are perfect for mounting your spare tire vertically to the side of trailer tongue or frame rails. These sturdy spare tire carriers mount to the trailer tongue in the front of the trailer. The offset design moves the tire and wheel up and away from the trailer frame to improve ground clearance. No drilling is required to install the carrier because the included U-bolts clamp the carrier to the trailer frame. The crisscross design increases the holding power of the U-bolts. Mounting U-bolts may be crossed to fit shorter frames or may be installed parallel for more reach. Additional details: * 3/16 in. thick galvanized steel * Fits frames up to 4 in. tall by 1 in. up to 3 1/2 in. wide * Holds either 4- or 5-lug wheels that are up to 15 in. * Not compatible with 5-on-5 in. or 5-on-5 1/2 in. bolt pattern * Extra heavy-duty welded steel construction for worry-free trailering * Offset height raises tire and provides additional ground clearance * Vertical offset: 5 in. * Side offset: 4 1/2 in. * Comes complete with all zinc plated hardware
