BTR LT1 thermostat housings are made from sand cast aluminum and replace the OEM plastic housing with the mold in-place thermostat. These aluminum housings accept an LS3 thermostat and connect to the factory radiator hose and vent tube utilizing the OEM clamps. BTR housing have a lower profile than the stock counterpart for tight clearance applications, and they provide the user with an easy alternative to adjust thermostat temperature without dismembering the factory plastic housing.
