BD Diesel's transmission inline filter kits protect your heavy-duty automatic transmission against contamination in its transmission fluid. They eliminate contamination from prior transmission failure or excessive wear, as well as secondary damage to other parts once a part failure has occurred. They extend transmission life by minimizing wear and preventing the sticking and scoring of sensitive shift control valves. The added oil capacity adds cooling capacity, and an off-the-shelf oil filter has a bypass valve and prevents the formation of sludge that blocks passages. These kits are designed for an easy installation and come complete with all needed hardware, including large hoses and fittings that result in high gpm levels, even under extreme use.

BD Diesel ProTect 68 Trans Pressure Control kits deliver 150 percent of the torque-holding force to stock transmissions like no others can. The industry-leading exclusive custom valve body separator plate and gaskets substantially reduce cross leaks compared to stock and other applications, even with much higher line pressures. An Electronic Pressure Control module delivers up to 250 psi clutch-apply pressure at full throttle, providing 150 percent of the holding force to prevent clutch slippage. All of this without modifying the transmission pump or removing the transmission. These controllers dynamically adjust the hydraulic-apply pressures, based on turbo boost/engine load. No tuning is required. Installation takes 2 to 3 hours to complete without having to do a full transmission relearn—since no internal tolerances have changed. A "fresh" stock transmission will have the ability to handle up to 500 hp.
