Finding the proper fasteners in your local hardware store can be a challenge—especially for automotive purposes. Instead, simply order Artec Industries high steer stud kits, the OE-style replacements needed for your Dana axle. Most of these steel studs have a black oxide finish, fine threads on both ends, and offer tensile strength up to 220,000 psi. (Some kits also include nuts and/or conical washers.) Remember, stock bolts are typically too short for high steer applications. Artec studs are sold individually or in multi-pack sets.

It doesn't make sense for coil springs with an uneven bottom to sit on a flat plate. These Artec Industries coil spring correction plates weld to your bottom flat plate and provide a seat that follows the curvature of the coil spring. Artec plates will help eliminate spring bowing that is commonly found under coil suspensions using flat coil perches. The correction plates are made from 1/2 in. thick steel and precision CNC-machined with a 1/2 in. course thread hole to allow easy installation with coil retainer plates.

Artec Industries large 4-link crossmember brackets allow for triangulated lower links that meet at a 1.75 in. O.D. round tube or 2.00 in. square tube crossmember between frame rails (depending on model). They're made for use with large joints that have a 2.625 in. mounting width. The hole size is 9/16 in., but can be drilled for larger sizes. Angles are set at 22 degrees each (44 degrees total) to allow use with Artec's angled lower link axle brackets. These large 4-link crossmember brackets are made from 1/4 in. thick steel and come in six unwelded pieces that jig together for easy assembly.

Mount up your links using a set of Artec Industries adjustable dual 4-link brackets. They're made from 1/4 in. thick steel plate and come unwelded. These chassis brackets feature a height-adjustable top plate, 25 degree angle on the upper holes, 10 degree angled out lower holes, adjustable-width lower holes, and a skid plate to protect the joint location. Artec adjustable dual 4-link brackets use an L-shaped inner tap for higher strength, and are cut out for pass-through plumbing and electrical connections.

Mount your lower control arms using heavy-duty replacement brackets from Artec Industries. They're made from 1/4 in. in. thick steel plate for strength and have grease fitting access on top to allow easy maintenance of your joint. The brackets have a 2.625 in. mounting width with 9/16 in. bolt hole for common sized style cartridge joints. The skid plate on the bottom of each bracket wraps around the joint, protecting it from direct impact and decreasing premature wear; this skid plate design does not restrict movement of the joint. Tapered sides allow the Artec lower control arm brackets to be mounted at an angle on the frame without excess material hanging off the side. Choose the style needed to mount front or rear control arms on your specific vehicle.

Artec Industries' modular truss ends are designed to complement their modular and short trusses—enabling them to "grow up" and be full-width trusses. Simply trim the end of this product to match the contours of ANY short-style truss, and you have a full-width truss at hand. The design is borrowed from Artec's new low-profile front trusses, and gives you a more compact truss that doesn't get in the way of other vehicle components. The 3/8 in. thick truss top and 1/4 in thick gussets incorporate a unique design to strengthen the axle and provide a link mounting surface or bump stop pad. Use a long modular truss end with a 14-bolt truss and make a 14-bolt front axle. Or use two modular truss ends on a rear axle with a modular or short truss, and you'll have a low-profile rear truss which has more clearance for frame rails than a normal rear truss and gives you a flat surface for bump stops to hit.
