AEV Conversions Tuned Bilstein 5100 shocks offer a slightly firm, sportier feel and they are available in different AEV kits as well as in sets by themselves. Combined with AEV's progressive rate coil springs in their DualSport kits, the pairing produces an increase in both up travel and down travel with better articulation, along with improved off-road speed potential and bottoming control. AEV Conversions Front Control Arm Drop Brackets
After pioneering Geometry Correction Brackets back in 2010, AEV Conversions has raised the bar again with the industry's first Stamped Geometry Correction Brackets. Designed to correct the front-end control arm geometry on vehicles with 2 - 4.5 in. of suspension lift, these brackets improve ride quality by eliminating front axle 'precession' caused by uncorrected suspension lift geometry. The corrected motion allows the front tires to move up and rearward (as they did on the stock vehicle) in response to a bump rather than trying to 'lunge' over it. Additionally, they dramatically reduce front-end 'dive' during hard braking by relocating the 'virtual instant center' of the front suspension. They also provide alignment correction for proper tracking by restoring caster angle without the need for cam bolts or different/adjustable arms—plus a slight reduction in maximum front driveshaft angle during suspension travel. The stamping process provides improved strength while reducing weight, and the new keyed square caster blocks allow for easy "set it and forget it" adjustments rather than round cam bolts that can slip and require special fasteners. AEV's Stamped Geometry Correction Brackets are compatible with both JL Wrangler and Gladiator and are included standard with AEV's 2.5 in. DualSport RT Suspension System for JL Wrangler. These brackets can be added as an option to AEV's 2 in. spacer lift, in addition to other brand suspension systems that also retain the OE front control arms. The JL/Gladiator Pintler matte black wheels combine timeless styling with innovative features and off-road strength that you've come to expect from AEV Conversions. However, this is not just another one-size-fits-all aftermarket Jeep wheel. AEV designed the Pintler wheel specifically for the newest Wrangler because—despite sharing the same DNA as the Jeep JK Wrangler—many aspects of the latest generation Wrangler and Gladiator are quite different. Simply re-purposing a Jeep JK wheel was not the best solution. AEV Conversions Bumper Skid Plates
AEV Conversions offers bumper skid plates for a variety of Jeep applications. They're not only good looking, but protect your sway bar, impact beam, and steering as well. Manufactured from 5mm hot stamped boron steel (HSBS), the front skid plates are designed to work with both the RX and EX front bumpers. AEV Conversions offers high-capacity coil springs in 3 in. and 4.5 in. packages for a variety of Jeep applications. They're a direct-fit upgrade for customers with an AEV DualSport suspension system. Designed with the overlander in mind, these frequency-tuned, progressive rate coil springs provide the increased load carrying capacity necessary for heavily loaded vehicles, while still offering exceptional ride quality, handling and off-road articulation. These coil springs are only available as a matching set of front and rear springs in order to preserve optimal vehicle handling dynamics. The relative rate/frequency of the front coil springs vs. the rear springs is a crucial part of safe vehicle handling. Because of this, AEV increases the rate/frequency of the front springs in order to maintain an appropriate relationship with the rear springs, across the entire range of rear-biased loading. AEV Conversions High Steer Kits
AEV Conversions high steer kits provide significant improvements to steering precision and handling by correcting the roll center height of the front suspension. Bringing the steering geometry back into factory alignment reduces body roll, bump steer, and roll steer—all major contributors to the loose or sloppy steering and driver fatigue commonly associated with many lift kits. AEV kits include a flipped draglink to improve ground clearance, as well as a heavy-duty steering damper. AEV's high steer kit is included with their 3.5 - 4.5 in. DualSport SC and RS suspensions, but can also be added on to suspensions in the 3.0 - 4.5 in. range from other manufacturers. A minimum of 3.0 in. of jounce bump spacing is required.
