These Yukon Gear & Axle locking hubs feature all-steel construction, including chromoly internals, for the ultimate in durability and strength. They will not disengage under high-torque applications and default to the locked position under use. Engagement comes from just a 1/3-turn of the all-steel, low-profile bezel that offers improved ground clearance. The Yukon Gear & Axle locking hubs feature a proprietary coating on the locking gears for decreased friction and long life.

First of all, these are way better quality than warn premiums. I thought they were a little pricey at first but after holding and seeing them I dont mind the price. I heard that they can be hard to unlock but if you take it out of 4wd first they are easy every time. Definitely recommend

solid design, clunky operation

Good product. Instructions were not very clear about shimming. Kit is supposed to have 6 shims of varying thickness but mine only included 2. Simple design that failsafes to locked. You almost need 3 hands to keep it all together to install the snap rings. Very clunky operation. Hubs will not unlock more often than i like. Vehicle must be in 2wd and several motions of the hub sometimes with pliers are required. Any bind keeps these locked which is difficult to remedy with a spool in the diff. Overall a solid unit that hasn't failed to lock like other hubs. ...read more
