The suppressor mats feature a high temperature adhesive backing and are easy to trim for an excellent fit.

Can I use this product on fiberglass side pipe exhaust shields . I have wrapped they mufflers with gold exhaust pipe wrap from DEI . WHAT IAM TRYING TO DO IS NOT HAVE THE SHIELDS MELT OR CATCH ON FIRE.

Asked by RAYMOND on March 10, 2019

Due to the distance from the heat source and the amount of heat, I cannot give you a positive yes. I would consider the aluminum foil covered fiber material. It will need to be synthetic, weather proof, with adhesive.
Be aware it will be thicker.
