Questions & Answers Ask a Product Question

Will this "bolt up" to a 85 hp 1939 ford? Thanks

Asked by BILL on October 05, 2017

Thank you for your question. Stewart Warner 82326-60 comes with an 1/8 in. NPT temperature probe and a 3/8 in. NPT adapter which will fit the coolant passage on many engines. Please check to see if your engine has a port in the head or intake manifold that would match.

The nut that holds the probe in is 1/2" NPT which is a tapered pipe thread.

The 2 1/16 dimension is that the outside dimension of the bezel? Or is the gauge face? What is the diameter of the gauge case? The depth of the gauge?

Asked by DOMINICK on February 09, 2019

2-1/16" is the diameter of the Case, so the hole in the panel will need to be this size or slightly over. The depth of the gauge from the front of the panel where it mounts to the back is 1-5/8", to the tips of the mounting studs it is 2-3/8" and to the point where the capillary tubing can bend to a radius, it is 3-1/2".

Is this gauge made in the USA?

Asked by MICHAEL on July 28, 2018

No. All the SW Deluxe gauges are made in Mexico, but they seem to be of good quality, and I've bought several.
