Questions & Answers Ask a Product Question

What is the recommended pre load for this lifter?

Asked by DAVID on November 26, 2017

There is no specific preload based on lifter as far as I know. You have to make sure your pushrods have at least .050 compressed into lifter. You can use a dial mic or count turns from zero lash. Depending on your bolt thread pitch, this may be around 2 full turns of the rocker bolt from zero lash

I'm looking at a .540 lift at 6500 rpm. Will these hold up? Pump up?

Asked by TERRY on February 05, 2019

Thank you for your question. The Summit HT214 hydraulic roller lifters will handle 6500 RPM just fine under relatively normal spring pressure and oil pressure. These are not Anti-pump up lifters.
