Are the casters cast iron or rubber?

Asked by JASON on October 16, 2017

Iron. I have bought several. The stand fits well and I think it's a great buy! Handles a Big Block with ease.

Asked by JOE on August 15, 2017

I have my 350 which weighs about 575 dressed and a 6.0 vortec weighs about 550 dressed. The stand holds my engine with ease. It looks flimsy but it convinced me once it held my engine for about 3 months without the frame bowing or bolts loosening. Can you say Tank you Summit!!

Can this cradle be converted to run stand to break in sbc?

Asked by PATRICIA on August 04, 2018

Yes with some work and way to mount your rad, etc, it will work. That's what I bought this stand for. It clears a flex plate but not sure about a flywheel. May not work with LT headers. My short A body headers are about 5 inches off the ground at the left collector. Assemble to the stand to the engine then tighten. Good luck!
