Q:

According to the instruction sheet the 1/8 npt outlet goes to the front brakes.Do you have to install a tee and have a separate line going to the left and right front?I have mine going to both at the same time(no tee) and it doesn't hold.Is that my problem? Thanks!

Asked by RALPH on October 16, 2017

A:

Yes, both left and right brake lines need to be connected to the output side of the line lock, typically done with a tee.

Q:

Could this be used to block brake pressure or can it flow through when engaged? I other words can it be used to stop the rear brakes from working?

Asked by RAME on February 01, 2018

A:

Pretty sure its just a needle type valve. it should block the flow either way when engaged.

Q:

Can I use this to block off the rear brakes?
(And if so do I have to install it backwards?)

Asked by JONAS on August 15, 2019

A:

Yeah you can imstall it on the rear brakes, im guessing front wheel drive? At any rate, this unit isn't directional can be installed either way. Dont forget the 1/8" npt to whatever size brake line fitting adapter, as it doesn't come with them.

It's the best bank for the buck, especially if you're resourceful and don't need a whole kit. Looks great and works great.

Great for the environment--recycles tires into smoke and dust. Straight through design is easy for plumbing.

went thru two units before I gave up. both leaked. one made it a day, one wouldn't hold fluid upon install. I guess you need the magic # of foot pounds to tighten fittings to, this # is not available. I've done hundreds of brake related installs without a problem. This seems awful temperamental.

Installed easy enough. Tested OK in the garage with front wheels suspended in air.No leaks. We'll see how it does when I get to the track.
