This kit requires general welding and fabrication skills. Kit is intended for vehicles with at least minor lifts. 2.0 in. lift is recommended and at lease 1/2 in. bump stop extensions. Check clearances before installing. Not tested in non-US Jeep JKs or right hand drive axles.

Artec Industries APEX Front Axle Trusses

Artec Industries APEX front axle trusses feature a unique peak-shaped top which provides extra rigidity to the whole truss. This allows both a reduction in weight and elimination of long weld seams which can lead to extra weld warping, longer install times, and inconsistency. This peaked structure also applies to the axle tube between the coil perches and extends underneath them, forming a complete truss from end-to-end of the axle. Despite its lighter weight (only 6 lbs.), this design has been proven to hold up to both extreme applications and daily driving. Features, items, and specs:

* Intended for use on vehicles with minor lifts and at least 1/2 in. bump stop extensions
* CNC precision laser-cut in-house from 1/8 in. mild steel
* CNC precision-bent in-house for a great fitment (drop in place on axle and it's ready to weld—no puzzle piece assembling; some grinding may be required—every axle varies slightly)
* Designed using 3-D models directly from Dana Corp and Jeep for an amazing fit and clearances with surrounding components
* All long seams are bent—no need to weld them together
* Dimpled holes provide weight reduction, rigidity, and strength
* Contours both the cast steel differential and front axle disconnect (FAD) which it bridges for reinforcement; can be welded with normal MIG welder using moderate pre- and post-heating
* Provides worry-free wheeling of up to 40 in. tires on stock JL axles
* Low-profile design allows usage in vehicles with only slight lift
