Patriot Clippster headers feature longer primaries that exit toward the rear of the engine compartment to clear steering and suspension components. They have slightly shorter primaries than full length headers and provide ground clearance on lowered vehicles. Unless otherwise noted, these headers are designed to fit the vehicle as it came from the manufacturer. This includes components like cylinder heads, chassis, steering, motor mounts, body mounts, and bushings, etc. If your vehicle is using aftermarket components, parts from other applications, or custom altered parts, then it is the installer's responsibility to verify fitment.

Finishes available:

* Metallic Ceramic Thermal Barrier Coating (MCTBC), which is polished with a vibratory finishing process that not only produces a high-luster aluminum appearance, but also compresses and activates the coating, which increases the surface hardness. The finish is 60 percent more corrosion-resistant than an unpolished surface, easy to maintain, and will last for years under normal operation conditions. MCTBC also protects and extends the life of headers by creating a thermal barrier (heat-resistant up to 1,600 degrees F) that significantly lowers underhood temperatures and protects the substrate metal from thermal fatigue.
* Hi-Temp black coating is an affordably priced alternative to their MCTBC. This finish provides good corrosion and heat protection when compared to many of the "cheaper" header finishes being applied by our competitors.
* Raw steel is available for individual customizing

Headers look great. Right side header mounts with no issue. Left side header can not be install as it hits the motor mount and other restrictions. Will not mount in a 72 camaro as indicated.

Patriot H8056-1 headers overall look is great, ceramic coating is super nice. The only thing is that the drivers side will not fit..... the collect hits the crossmember, in order for them to fit you would have to move the engine back 1'1/2" or cut into the crossmember. It's a shame these company's can't get headers to fit after all these years. Hope this helps ...read more

THESE WERE SUPPOSED TO FIT A 64 CHEVELLE WITH A SMALLBLOCK AUTO. NO EVEN CLOSE. THE DRIVER SIDE CRASHES INTO FRAME.DONT BUY THESE FOR THAT CAR. USE 8021 OR ANOTHER BRAND.

The headers look to be of great quality however the application page says it will fit a 67 manual transmission chevelle it did not the driver side header was way off and would have to go 2” into the frame to make them fit

1971 nova with manual trans. this was exactly what i needed to work around my Z bar. I wish they would put notes in the descriptions of all the headers that they will or will not work with manual transmissions.
