Starter has a 3/4 in. offset and fits applications with automatic transmissions using a 157 or 164 tooth ring gear or manual transmissions using a 157 tooth ring gear (Normally 5-speeds). This replaces OEM starters with a 'nose' that extends 2-3/8 in. past the mounting surface.

These high performance starters feature a special sleek design that will work and look great with many popular engine applications. Built with all new parts, their adjustable clocking design allows the body to be rotated for improved clearance around headers and other parts in tight engine bays. They include powerful Nippondenso motors with a 4.4:1 gear ratio and over 200 lbs.-ft. of torque. PerTronix Contour starters are available polished or with a black powdercoat finish.
