Powermatic PM2800B Drill Presses are designed with the woodworker in mind. These drill presses have many convenient features that other so-called woodworking drill presses do not offer to raise the workshop experience to new levels in performance and functionality. The PM2800B has an expandable work table that's the industry's largest in this class and also features a larger motor than any other drill press in its class for maximum torque. The single handle speed changer allows you to run the full range of speeds without ever touching a belt, and the front mounted digital readout displays the exact speed the spindle is running. Twin LED lights help eliminate cast shadows on the workpiece, which are often produced by conventional lights. The twin lasers will pinpoint the bit entry on the workpiece.
