RESTOPARTS® Manufactured Power and Manual Steering Conversion Kits

RESTOPARTS® Manufactured power and manual steering conversion kits are all-inclusive aftermarket packages designed to upgrade or convert the steering systems in classic General Motors vehicles—such as vintage Oldsmobile Cutlasses, Chevrolet Chevelles, El Caminos, and Monte Carlos. They allow owners to transition a classic car from a tiring manual steering setup to smooth, modern power steering, or vice versa depending on the specific package.

* RESTOPARTS® is a brand by Original Parts Group that specializes in GM-licensed restoration components, meaning these kits are engineered to match original equipment manufacturer specifications for authentic fit and appearance.
* While contents vary based on your car's exact year, engine size (small block vs. big block), and air conditioning configuration, a standard power steering conversion kit generally features:
-- New power steering pump, cap, and pulley
-- Specific mounting brackets, braces, and hardware
-- Pressure and return hoses / line sets
-- Correct reservoir styles (such as remote reservoirs for specific mid-'60s big block builds)
