OMIX-ADA seat brackets are generally heavy-duty steel parts designed to repair, replace, or adapt seat mounting hardware in Jeeps—specifically extending seat belt receptacles by 6 in. for better access. They're often used for installing aftermarket seats or lifting the buckle over high consoles in models ranging from older Jeep CJs and YJ Wranglers (1976-95) to newer JK/JL vehicles.
