Evans Waterless Coolant High Performance Coolant is a proprietary fluid with a specially-formulated inhibitor package designed for all gasoline, light-duty diesel, LP, and CNG engines. Evans is now NHRA track approved! It contains no silicates or phosphates, and requires no supplemental coolant additives. This coolant has a boiling point of 375 degrees F and will not vaporize--eliminating overheating, boil-over, and after-boil. The low vapor pressure reduces stress on the engine cooling system components. Evans Waterless Coolant High Performance Coolant will also eliminate corrosion and electrolysis, and offers permanent protection, to temperatures as low as -40 degrees F.

Questions & Answers Ask a Product Question
Q:

How much coolant and flush fluid will I need. For a 383 Stroker SBC, I will be using a new aluminum 3 core radiator. Thanks.

Asked by JAMES on October 25, 2017

A:

My small block Chevrolets take over 4 gallons even 400 ci. Your radiator is an unknown. Check with the mfg. maybe they can tell you. I would not get less than 5 gals. Mfg. will recommend the treatment amount. Drain your 383 completely using the lower plugs on the side of the block near the pan rail. there is a lot of coolant left there.

Q:

is the coolant non conductive? does the coolant have a color?

Asked by PATRICK on October 08, 2017

A:

I have no way to determine if it's conductive but the product does have a very slight amber color, just enough to differentiate it from clear water.

Q:

I have a 2001 chevy 2500hd. the truck has a 3inch body lift and as a result the top of the radiator is above the shroud. under extreme circumstances when towing our 30 ft camper , usually steep grades in 80 degree plus weather the truck overheats. in your opinion would evans coolant be better than the traditional antifreeze mixture

Asked by BRIAN on December 30, 2017

A:

Evans would do a better job of cooling the vehicle, but you need to fix your radiator first.
