Even the best new car speakers cause panel distortion. Dynamic Control's Dynamat Xtreme sound-deadening liners improve mid-bass performance, while eliminating vibration rattles and squeaks. These liner sheets transform the flimsy metal surrounding your speaker into a solid, non-resonant baffle. The sound-deadening material features self-adhesive backing for a fast and easy installation on door panels, ceilings, firewalls, floors, and more. If you're looking for the absolute best sound quality, Dynamic Control Dynamat Xtreme sound-deadening liners are a must for your vehicle! They're available in a variety of sizes and quantities.

Questions & Answers Ask a Product Question
Q:

Will this adhere to areas treated with LizardSkin (rough finish)? And will it be an enhancement to the effect the LizardSkin provides? I guess I’m asking if anyone has ever used both materials with any success?

How much do I need to do the entire inside of a pickup truck cab (firewall, floor, roof, back of cab, doors)?

Thanks

Asked by GREG on January 13, 2019

A:

I applied it over Herculiner and it adhered just fine. For a regular cab '70 Ford pickup I had to buy a bulk kit(DYC-10455) and a door kit(DYC-10435) and it covered the firewall, floor, roof doors and up to the back window with just a little left over. I didn't put any under the bench seat however. Made a huge difference in how solid the cab sounds. No more sheet metal echo when shutting the door.

Q:

WHAT IS R VALUE OF THIS PRODUCT

Asked by EDWARD on May 02, 2018

A:

This is not an insulation or insulator. It is a thick sticky mat, kinda like tar in a sheet, that deadens the tin sound your metal panels make, and most road noises.
