Computech Wind Meter Components

Computech Wind Meter components are the replaceable physical parts that make up the anemometer and wind vane sensors on their racing weather stations (like the RaceAir Cloud). These components measure wind speed and direction to help drag racers calculate ET (Elapsed Time) predictions and track tuning.

The primary components include:

* Wind cups: The three concave cups that catch the wind to measure speed. They are mounted using metal clips.
* Rotor assembly: The central rotating hub that holds the wind cups and transfers the rotational motion to the sensor.
* Wind vane assembly: The directional fin that pivots to measure wind direction.
* Mounting and extension Poles: Expandable cam-lock poles (usually 4–8 ft or 6–12 ft) used to elevate the wind meter above your racing trailer for accurate readings.
* Brackets and cables: Specific trailer storage mounts and extension cables (e.g., Deutsch-style or through-wall) designed to safely store and route the meter through your rig
