These Dual Energy cam and lifter kits from COMP Cams have more exhaust duration and lift than intake. They are designed for applications where a slight sacrifice in low-end power is acceptable for an increase in mid and upper-range rpm horsepower. These kits are ideal for use with restricted exhaust port cylinder heads, or applications using a full-length exhaust system.

Hi. I have a 1972 F100 with a 302. Would this cam be suitable for the engine with stock heads?

Thank you for your question. COMP Cams K31-418-3 camshaft kit will fit the 1972 Ford 302 engine in the F-100. This camshaft kit includes the required valve spring upgrades. You will need to use a pushrod length checker COMP Cams 7703-1 to measure for the new pushrod length.
