COMP Cams crankshaft sockets are the perfect addition to your engine-building toolbox. They accept 1/2 in. drive ratchets for versatility and easy engine rotation. They're precision-machined for an accurate fit over the crank snout, and their knurled retaining nut threads-on to sandwich a degree wheel in place. The nut can be loosened, while on the crank snout, so that the wheel can be turned independently of the engine when finding top dead center.

Invaluable tool for Dialing Camshaft

A well made solid tool that will make Dialing-in a camshaft so much easier with the knurled Nut to hold the degree Wheel in place while the 1/2" drive allow's rotation of crank without effecting the degree Wheel position.

This socket is very heavy duty, should last many lifetimes. Your degree wheel needs a one inch center hole to mount on this. I had to enlarge the hole in my Mr. Gasket wheel, not a big deal, worked great.
