Can this oil be mixed with the old Brad Penn #009-7119 oil of which I still have a couple of quarts? In other words, is it a direct substitution, perhaps only a name change?

as a engine builder,i would say it wont do engine damage however make sure you don't cross synthetic with conventional oil.
