A:

it appears it does. tested fitted to a 1994 351 roller eng. and all looks fine. all so it comes with a plug for dipstick if you are not using that hole.

Not good timing cover - needs quality improvement

This cover is good, not great. A few small issues: 1. The alignment dowel holes were not accurate - one side was way too big allowing a lot of slop. This is a critical part of this cover...if it doesn't align properly, it will leak from the front seal! 2. The casting was rough, and they tried to clean it up in a few places, but missed other obvious flashing problems. 3. The casting is missing critical strength ribbing on the top, and I worry it will break with a lot of belt tension on the water pump pulley. 4. The hole for the dipstick (assuming you're using a front dipstick) was too small....it wouldn't go in under any circumstances - needed to drill it out to make it work. Long story short, I'd keep looking for a better one. ...read more

Not as good as OE, but workable

Others have commented on some of this. Two of the bosses for two of the lower bolts are thicker than the original. Longer bolts needed. I think I went from 1" to 2-1/4", but you'll have to double check. The timing pointer thread wasn't cut. Mine was 10-32. Finding a 10-32 plug tap locally proved impossible. I tapped what I could with a regular tap then cut it the rest of the way with a spare screw. The stock timing pointer didn't like up, the timing pointer hole is about 1/8" up and away. I slotted the timing pointer. There was a little bit of casting flash to file off here and there. Nothing major. The aluminum seems REALLY soft compared to the OE part, but nothing stripped or cracked when I tightened it down. ...read more

There where a number of sharp edges and 1 hole that needed to be drilled out because of an internal burr. After spending about 1 hour on it, it worked prefect.
