Questions & Answers

My system is kicking on when vehicle is cool. When I adjust it to turn off when engine/coolant is at ambient conditions, the switch then does NOT turn the fan on when hot until I modify switch/dial position again....then once the vehicle cools, the switch kicks the fan on once again. This has happens since day 1....even w/ the temp probe not install during initial installation testing. Could I have a bad thermocouple?

Zirgo temp controller

Summit RacingSummit Racing Verified Purchase

I purchased 2 Summitt racing temp controller's that looked just like the Zirgo brand in a white Summitt box. The 2 Summitt controllers did not work at all out of the box. They did not turn on the fans when the probe was warmed up and you could not turn the knob to manually start up the fans either. I had to buy the Zirgo brand and it worked great, right out of the package. The only problem was Zirgo had no instructions. more
