Hot Rod Magazine Q Collegiate Power Challenge final exams take place February 6, 2006 at Houston Raceway Park. Each vehicle will judged in eight different categories using a "one to four" scale-one being the lowest score and four being the highest. The categories are as follows: * 1/4-Mile Performance * 60- 0 mph Braking * Slalom * Skid Pad * Fit and Finish (not including body paint) * Imagination * "Cool" factor * Reader's Choice The performance categories-1/4-mile, 60-0 mph braking, slalom, and skid pad-require each team to make three runs in each category. The best run from each of these categories will be used in the scoring. In the Editors categories-fit and finish, imagination, and "cool" factor-vehicles will be judged by Editors from Hot Rod Magazine. The Readers Choice score will be determined by spectators and fans of the Q Collegiate Challenge. Once all the scores have been tallied, one team will be declared the Hot Rod Magazine Q Collegiate Power Challenge winner! |
