These Ford Racing 427 c.i.d. Boss short block assemblies provide you with the perfect foundation for building your high-horsepower Boss engine. They start out with a 4-bolt main Boss cast iron block with a 9.500 in. deck height, then add a 4.000 in. stroke steel crankshaft and a set of forged steel H-beam connecting rods with floating pins, and top that off with a set of 4.125 in. bore forged pistons. The Ford Racing 427 c.i.d. Boss short block assemblies will require Ford Racing Boss cylinder head bolts or studs and Ford Racing cylinder heads. They will not accept any production Boss engine components.
