Summit Racing Street & Strip multi-spark digital capacitive discharge ignition boxes use cutting-edge microprocessor controls to create hot, consistent sparks for performance throughout the powerband. These capacitive discharge systems create a powerful 100 mJ spark at full voltage, with multiple sparks below 3,000 rpm to improve starting ability, idle quality, and throttle response, while preventing plug fouling due to cylinder load-up. They have a 470V primary/45,000V secondary output, plus a built-in rev limiter-just use the rotary dials to set it anywhere from 0 to 9,900 rpm. The lightweight cast aluminum housing has a durable metallic silver powdercoat finish, and the ignition comes with direct plug-in connectors for most 2-wire distributors (including points and magnetic pickups), installation hardware, labeled wiring, optional Weather Pack connectors, optional vibration-resistant mounts, and detailed instructions.
