Replaced the step - Glad I got these clips. Originals were slightly rusted and ended up getting bent up upon removal. They are holding the new step solidly in place.

Replacement clips

Summit RacingSummit Racing Verified Purchase

I was pleasanly supple used at the ease of installation. The correct clips were recommended for the type of replacement step pad. The hardest part was removing the old clips which I drilled out with a bit that was smaller than the old clips, then a needle nose plyers did the job of taking out the old clips. I used the recommendation from a previous user , I put the new clips on the stems of the new pad put them in place pressed them as far as I could by hand and then used a rubber mallet to send them home. Looks great and work great. ...read more

Simple as it gets

You slide it on the peg. Force it down as far as you can. Then take your step bad and like it up with the holes in your step bar and I simply took a rubber hammer and put her in there and it's all set! She fit and it's not going anywhere now.
