Straight from World Products the first thing that sets these Motown Lite blocks apart from the others on the market are the horizontal ribs on the side of the blocks. Not only are they attractive, but they serve to stabilize and reinforce the cylinder walls to the point where engine builders have reported gains of 10-20 horsepower with no changes in combination other than the block. Important internal features include internal ribs that reinforce the block and serve to cross-feed lifter bores, thick bulkheads, and priority main oiling. The main technical specifications are as follows.
