The headers feature a pressure-formed collector for a better flow rate and a jig-welded tube-to-flange plate for a perfect fit. Gaskets, mounting hardware, and reducers are included. They're made for off-road and racing use only. Unless otherwise noted, these headers are designed to fit the vehicle as it came from the manufacturer. Headers are pretty nice. They fit, but a little close to a couple of the spark plugs, but they do clear. I have a 2" lift, the headers are pretty close to the front drive shaft, but they clear. The only gripe I have is that the passenger side header had some scratches it the finish. I would have sent them back if I had not already started the install, before I took a good look at them. The headers would be 5 star if I would have got a blemish free set, as the drivers side header is very nice looking. ...read more

Headers have a nice finish and seem to be well built. The passenger side header outlet flange is very, very close to the front drive shaft on the 4x4 '72 Blazer. It seems like the flange could be a little hight to better align with the opening over the transfer case, improve ground clearance, and increase the clearance with the front drive shaft. I actually bought this as a surprise gift for The Man. It was on his list of items for his truck restoration project. He likes that they are ceramic coated to prevent rusting. He's installed it into his 1972 Chevy C-10 to give it more horsepower and manly sound. The product also arrived quickly. Great purchase for the price and quality.

Decent fit

Bought these to replace the stock manifolds on a 72 GMC Jimmy. No clearance issues on either side. Had to install the driver side from the bottom. They look really nice and fit nicely too. I have run the engine for about 4 hours and have had no exhaust leaks. The one thing I do not really like about these headers is how far they drop. I think they could be about 2 inches shorter and be tucked up under the truck much better. It isn't a huge concern for me as mine is 4x4. Also, front driveline is a little close, but still fits.
