Installed very easily in my 70 chevelle. A few flaws in the coating but they look good for the price. Spark plugs are VERY close to the tubes. I highly recommend the "shorty" style plugs. The spark plug clearance dent in the drivers side primary is also in the wrong spot on my pair. Good headers for the price! Highly recommended.

these headers appear to be factory seconds. 1 header tube was malformed in the collector on both headers. I wasn't too concerned because I bought the ceramic coating for show not go on my 1970z28 and the price was right compared to hooker. HTH

they look great, easy install (i will admit...i didnt do it myself), they sound better. my car is still in the shop now so i havent had a chance to drive it yet. So glad i didnt spend twice as much on other brands

Horrible Experience.

I have4 sets of these for the same 1969 Camaro 350. 1st set hit the steering box and when we dented it to fit, it cracked. 2nd, 3rd and 4th sets had bad flanges. The flange was off by about 1/32" in #1 driver side. The 4th set was off by at least 1/32" and 2 & 3 cylinder. Basically when you put a straight edge on the flanges you have a rocking horse that wont seal against the head. On set 4 summit told me they would pull the header and inspect then to make sure they were good. Apparently they did not have a straight edge available because set 4 was even worse then 2 and 3. Now they are sending Hookers instead. Fingers crossed. The 3 with bad flanges were from the same batch. Normally Summit brand stuff is good but these headers are not. ...read more
