These steel pans are built by hand in America with power-supporting features like a directional windage screen, a trap door baffle for improved oil control, and a built-in crankshaft scraper. They also have magnetic drain plugs, 1/4 in. NPT dipstick fittings (dipstick not included), and a paintable, black zinc plated finish for rust prevention. Small Chevy pans are compatible with a 3 7/8 in. stroke, while big Chevy pans work with up to a 4 1/4 in. stroke.

Nice Pan

Summit RacingSummit Racing Verified Purchase

This oil pan fit well and seems to be well made. This is the 3rd oil pan I tried due to leaking/not fitting properly. Sealed up nice and good solid pan.

summit 8" deep oil pan

Summit RacingSummit Racing Verified Purchase

Disappointed quality for the reputation of summitracing. The pan made of light sheet metal , bolts hole did not aligned with bolts in the block , I had to pry it in to get the bolt lined up. The anodizing is very thin coat and of inferior quality and poorly applied.
