Great pump at a great price!

Summit RacingSummit Racing Verified Purchase

I needed a fuel pump for a carbureted application. This pump is being used with a rising rate fuel pressure regulator and delivers more than enough fuel for the demand even under boost. It is loud. I have mine mounted on the frame rail and it really emits a loud growling whine.

Fuel Pump

Summit RacingSummit Racing Verified Purchase

Great looking, easy to install, nice price but super noisy. 1985 Jeep CJ-7 with fuel injection. I've had to remove and exchange for another model. Hoping the next model will be quieter.

fuel pump

installs easily, works as described, but very noisy...we now call our "K" car a "R" car due to the noise. The fuel pump can be heard in my shop while the car is running outside.

Fuel Pump Alternative P1800 ES

Summit RacingSummit Racing Verified Purchase

Volvo P1800 ES. I used this as an alternative to the OEM (which lasted only a couple of years) Installed it a year ago and all seems OK. It did require changing the configuration around. I had to swap the Fuel Filter and Fuel Pump locations. The pump works great. Took revs, under a load, to 5000 and there was no lag or signs of loss of fuel flow. I did not go to the Red Line as the Beach Car is 40 years old! Invested in continuing education ................. :^) Good luck finding 5/16" FI gas line. ...read more
