Summit® quick-release fasteners are quarter-turn, cam-lock, quarter turn fasteners that are ideal for holding fiberglass, metal, or composite bodywork and components in place. In order to retain these removable components securely, they pass through the part being held in place. Then they grab onto special springs mounted to an appropriate part of the vehicle, often on special metal weld plates.
