Worked out

OEM plate was all kinds of messed up. This one seems pretty good. Fixed all issues as of right now with my starting problems. Welds on both sides which is a sign of good quality.

Summit Flexplate

I had issues with this item because I could not get the clearance needed between the flex plate and the torque converter. The flex plate was too thick. Had to go back to my original part to get things to go together properly. I'm not sure if it was just mis-stamped, too thick or what.

Swapping the mistake someone made putting a 350 flexplate on a 400 i found the reason behind heavy vibrations and starters getting messed. Be sure to check starter clearence before installing tranny as my alignment changed having to shim starter body
