The balancer is fine, but....

It appears that the TFS, Ford Racing and this Summit brand damper are identical in most respects. The damper itself is fine and will do the job as intended. After oven heating, it slipped right on. Unfortunately the method for attaching the drive belt pulley to it is at best, suspect using a tube, a snap ring along with some combination of 8 small diameter spacers to achieve your proper pulley distance. The Ford version uses a solid spacer where you have a choce of 4 different thicknesses to fit most applications and a lot more solid.
