Mustang Drum to Disc Conversion Kit

This kit was exactly as described. The parts were all high quality and fit perfectly. The only error was the rubber hoses were for an early car. I had to use an adapter fitting as the hoses from a 67-69 are larger. Not really a problem. I will be purchasing more of these. Great price! The shipping was 3 days faster than promised!

Front drum to Disc conversion

Very easy to convert my 68 Mustang from drum brakes to disc brakes. Easy to follow instructions. Conversion took about an hour for both front wheels.

I installed this kit in the spring and after 6 months of use I'm very satisfied. I also had issue with the fitting size of the hoses, but I was already replacing all my hard lines from the master cylinder so it wasn't a problem. Even with a manual disc/drum setup the car stops very well. This was my first time installing a conversion and it took me most of a day, but I could probably do the same job in half the time with the experience I gained. I was also pleased to see that a lot of the parts were SSBC parts from a more expensive kit. Good quality, good price. ...read more

drum to disc conversion

very easy to install, great product would recommend this conversion to anyone. It is well worth buying verses the old way I did my 69, spending hours in a junk yard to get the original LOOK from a 72 Ford Granada LOL.
