Summit® mechanical fuel pumps are available in two versions; one has 1/4 in. NPT inlets and outlets, provides 5.7 to 8 psi, and can free-flow 80 gph. That's twice what a normal pump delivers. The other has 3/8 in. NPT ports, delivers 6.5 to 8 psi, and can free-flow a hefty 110 gph. These pumps are plated with a bright finish for good looks and corrosion resistance, and the lower housings of both can be rotated through 360 degrees, to make fitting them into tight places a snap.

Nice pump

Summit RacingSummit Racing Verified Purchase

this pump is the Holley 12-834 repackaged by/for Summit so it's nice to pay half less than the "Holley packaged" fuel pump ! It comes without fittings though. The pump itself is light and not bulky like the ACDelco one that comes with the ZZ4 turn key crate engine which I couldn't use because of that and the fact that the ports are 180° apart. This one has the ports placed better. The chrome on pump is not show quality but for a street rod its good enough. We will see how it performs once I get the engine started. Pump is made in Korea. ...read more

GREAT FUEL PIMP. LIKE THE FACT THAT YOU CAN ADJUST THE BOTTOM HALF TO FIT AS NEEDED.

Failed at 50 miles

I took it apart after being towed home. The inlet valve failed and now passes gas both directions.

Failed after 450 miles

Summit RacingSummit Racing Verified Purchase

Pump failed after 450 miles and vehicle had to be flat bedded home. The pin holding the push rod came out and was loose in the fuel pump area. I would recommend purchasing this pump again.
