Poor Effort Spectre

Summit RacingSummit Racing Verified Purchase

When I recieved my intake kit everything looked great, everything was damage free. The problems came when it was time to install. The instructions were for a different intake kit, which were poor, not that it really matters since this is a straight forward install. There was a bracket set that was missing. The bottom of the shield also rests on AC tubing, which is a vibration issue and a refrigerant leak waiting to happen. In the end it could still be worth the savings of not buying the K&N or rotofab kit. You will just have to perform some modifications to the heat shield and making a mounting bracket prior to install. Don't expect to unpackage this and bolt everything up and have it fit the first time. ...read more
