Improve your quarter-mile time with one of these Steeda aluminum driveshafts. Steeda's one-piece aluminum driveshafts do not use a flange adapter, which can contribute to vibration. Instead, these Steeda driveshafts come complete with a new pinion flange, which the driveshafts directly bolt to. The GT model driveshafts feature a tapered 3.5 to 4.0 in. design, giving them the extra clearance needed to avoid the interference that can happen on lowered cars with full 4.0 in. shafts.

Highly recommend usin a lift. Jack stands is doable, but much harder. You MUST have a gear puller to remove the pinion flange. Additionally, to assist in fitment, use a dead blow hammer and firmly strike the rear portion (has the boot) to compress the shaft. It will fit seamlessly. Finally you must have a quart of appropriate gear oil on hand. Impact wrench is a MUST to remove the pinion nut. As soon as you pull the pinion flange it's gonna start leaking until the new flange is seated. Torque to specs. I went to the track the day after. Not problem. No additional NVH noted either. ...read more
