Replace your spongy, factory rubber brake lines with one of these Russell Street Legal brake line kits. The pre-assembled, steel-braided brake lines provide firmer, more responsive braking by reducing excessive brake pedal travel, which is caused by the expansion of the rubber lines. They also meet strict DOT requirements for street-driven vehicles. These kits come in pre-packaged lengths and include all of the hardware and fittings necessary for installation.

Not real happy with the fit. The routing seemed a little awkward and took some time to get the lines in the correct position to eliminate tire rub. Both lines were the same length and it seemed one of them should have been a little longer. Thanks swany

It's good they lasted 7 years and that it happened while in my driveway, but I won't be trusting these again. Now I'm worried about the condition of all the other lines. I am going to replace both front ones and will be checking the rears over carefully. I remember when I installed these feeling like the front lines were too short. Just fully turning the wheels would pull on them a little. Seems there should be an inch or 2 of slack to avoid any tension being put on them when turning or the suspension travels. ...read more
