Seems to work well on my 1995 Ford Econoline that used to have a fan clutch and metal fan blade. Fit just right and gives a lot more room to change the belt, thermostat, water pump, etc. without having to remove the fan clutch or fan. Just had to drill 4 holes in the radiator bracket to make the adaptation (already had the hardware from removing the original fan shroud). ...read more

Good replacement upgrade for 3rd gen F-body

I installed this on my 89 IROC Camaro. It is a twin fan setup with identical fans & motor as my stock setup. (plugs right in) The plus is they are both housed in a 1-piece fans shroud with stationary blades so it should have better flow and distribution than the stock setup. Not a bad price. There is some trimming of the shroud and upper radiator support required. I actually mounted the entire assembly upside down for better clearance at the steering gearbox. fans are opposite where they should be for my pontiac trans am this product was not designed for a mid 80's f-body there is not enough clearance for the steering gear or the air intake
