Richmond Gear takes it a step further with these Pro Gear ring and pinion sets. The gear sets are designed for race use only where hard launches and severe heat cycling occurs. They're made from a softer, more malleable alloy to be more resistant to breakage under harsh racing conditions. These Richmond drag race only gears feature an outstanding rotating weight loss of up to 6 pounds, ground pinion threads for trouble-free installation, and a special heat treatment for improved strength.

Richmond Gears

Summit RacingSummit Racing Verified Purchase

Gear Quality and appearance were great but to install the gear into a Strange Iron Center section, you will either have to mill the pinion support rear bearing housing or mill the inside edge off of the ring gear(.045) to clear the thicker ring gear design. Not mentioned in any paperwork with the gears.
