These Rugged Ridge synthetic winch cables are constructed from genuine Dyneema SK-75 fiber imported from the Netherlands. This revolutionary fiber is stronger and lighter than wire rope and never kinks or splinters. They are woven from 12 UV-treated strands, resulting in increased strength and a power to weight ratio unmatched by wire rope. The Rugged Ridge synthetic winch cables come with a protective sleeve that prevents them from overheating on the winch drum. They also include a black powdercoated latched hook, a stainless steel thimble, and are preterminated for a simple installation. They require the use of new aluminum Hawse-style fairlead.
