Truly a "one man" system

Summit RacingSummit Racing Verified Purchase

This kit did exactly what it said it would do. I bled a new brake system on my hot rod by myself with this set. It was easy and everything went down just like advertised. I'd love to have their MaxPro set, but for the money, this one is fine for the hobbyist.

V5 Bleeder

Bought this item on a friend's recommendation. It works well and made bleeding the master cylinder and the brakes so much easier than the old "pump and pray" method! A couple small gripes - one, the supplied rubber tips that cover the bleeder valves on the brake caliper did not seal very well and allowed fluid to spill out, making a mess while you reverse bleed. And two, the pump spring inside the handle kept popping out, but was a simple fix with a precisely placed zip tie. All in all, was a worthy investment and I'd recommend to friends. It isn't the most "robust" piece of equipment, but should work well for most DIY guys. My system was entirely new, all lines bent by myself, completely dry system...it took us less than 20 minutes to completely bleed the system, and that involved going back around to all calipers one more time just to make sure we got all of the air out. It still requires two people for the job, but one of them just has to watch for bubbles at the master cylinder! ...read more

Doesn't work too well

Summit RacingSummit Racing Verified Purchase

Not impressed. Pulls a vacuum ok but sucks air through the brake bleed nipple. Once brake fluid gets into the plunger, it seizes up and you cant pump it anymore.

Excallent product

Summit RacingSummit Racing Verified Purchase

I was in the car business for several years and have been around cars my whole life. I've had several different types of 'one person' bleeders. This one is the best so far. If you're a DIYer, get this one it's worth the money. If you're a pro, go for the upgrade, it will save you time (and your hand muscles).

Real Nice

Summit RacingSummit Racing Verified Purchase

Easy to use, and fun to see how good it works. It could have used another kind of pump, like a foot pump, cause it's hard on the hands.
