Great tool.

This is an excellent tool. It is well made and easily adjusts to different opening settings. Easily pressed my 350 lb duals. It would have been nice if the tool locked in the pressed position, but the handle is large enough that it takes little effort to use. This is a tool I'm glad I bought!

Good tool for the money

Summit RacingSummit Racing Verified Purchase

This valve spring compressor works very well and is safer than the 'open-mouth' versions that tend to slip off as they age. It was NOT capable of breaking 'seasoned' valve springs loose without flexing, so it's necessary to tap them first with a hammer & socket, but it's certainly a good tool for installation. Overall, worth the reasonable price. ...read more

Best $95 ever spent.

Best valve compressor I have used. Broke loose with no effort. 2 minutes to remove springs on one head. No tapping to loosen locks.

This compressor makes easy work of pretty stout springs. Only complaint would be that there is not some thing that could lock it in the compressed position.

Great Product

Summit RacingSummit Racing Verified Purchase

This works great. I have some really heavy double springs that broke my old generic valve compressor, but this compressor didn't even break a sweat with them. It is super adjustable, takes very little mechanical effort to use, and I have no doubt it's going to last forever because it's built stouter than a pole fence.
