Professional Products PowerForce harmonic dampers are not only affordable, but they are also extremely durable. These dampers feature a bonding process which adheres the elastomer to the i.d. of the inertia ring and the o.d. of the hub, utilizing a strong adhesive along with an improved elastomer to create a much stronger bond. These high-quality PowerForce dampers also feature clear, white, easy-to-read timing marks against a painted black background. In addition, Professional Products engraves a mark every 90 degrees, which is also painted white (90 degrees marks are not on small block Ford dampers). These dampers are accurately balanced and closely machined for the correct fit.

PowerForce Harmonic Damper

Before I installed this new damper I couldn,t seem to get the timing set right on my engine and there was a slight vibration at about 4000 RPM. With the new damper I can now set the timing bang on and the vibration is gone. I love it!!

Good quality overall, If the timing marks were cut into the OD instead of painted it would be even better.

Bought this damper for a SBC 350. Nice timing markings that are easy to read against the black of the damper. Problem was the hole for the snout of the crank was .004" smaller than the crank snout itself. This was discovered after I installed the damper and int the process shaved off the interior diameter of the damper hole with the snout of the crank. So it did not spin true after that. Had to remove it and return for a Summit brand damper. The hole should have been about .001" maybe .002" smaller than the crank snout at most. Measure the hole and measure the crank snout before installation. ...read more
