These excellent reproduction fan shrouds from Original Parts Group will fit like the originals but will wear better. Among the improvements that you can appreciate is the stronger, more rugged shroud body that's designed to stand up to the elements, while appearing to be nearly original. Some have rib reinforcements added to the beefed-up walls for increased sturdiness. When you want original parts, you need Original Parts Group.

Poor Shroud

Summit RacingSummit Racing Verified Purchase

Fan shroud too small for thr 18 inch fan blade that is standard on the 67 GTO. Save your money. Looking at going to electric fan set-up. Originality SHOT!!

Radiator Shroud

Summit RacingSummit Racing Verified Purchase

My car didn't have a shroud when I purchased it but after I had it rebuilt, I noticed the engine would over heat. After ordering and installing the Summit shroud, it runs nice and cool.

Good fit, marginal integrity

Summit RacingSummit Racing Verified Purchase

Looks good and installs easily, no problem there. What the issue is with this shroud is that when temps get hot under the hood, the plastic this shroud is molded from likes to get soft and gets sucked right into the fan blades! The first shroud I bought I wasn't aware of this and despite careful clearance measurements and a clean installation, it took less than a week for it to destroy a brand new flex fan and the shroud itself. The second shroud I bought I really used care to secure it where it had caused the problem previously (up at the top of the shroud). So I install a brand new clutch fan setup with a new shroud and one day while driving down the interstate I hear that familiar rubbing sound starting so I pulled over immediately to find the shroud is SOFT and being sucked into the fan down by the bottom of the radiator. The fan and shroud had minor damage because I caught it in time, but the tips of the fan are dinged and the lower part of the shroud is partially broken away. My suggestion is to make sure it is VERY secure all the way around the fan blade, particularly the top and bottom of the shroud. Once these issues are addressed it's a nice shroud for the money and looks very close to an OE shroud. ...read more
